Teachers who are Starting Teachers (teachers who are seeking employment with the department for the first time who hold current NESA accreditation ) and those Returning Teachers (Teachers who have had a break of service from the department of five years or more that have current NESA accreditation) require to have their teacher accreditation approved by NESA prior to applying to teach with DoE.
